Launch High School Closed In Effort to Slow COVID-19

By March 18, 2020Uncategorized

Launch High School, along with all of the local school districts in El Paso County jointly decided to close schools for the week before the scheduled Spring Break due to the COVID-19 coronavirus situation. The closure is an attempt to slow the spread of coronavirus. The state has asked all public schools to follow suit with local districts and the action seems prudent.

Our presumed return to school date is Monday, April 27, 2020. If closure beyond April 27 is appropriate, Launch has a plan and is very well suited for continued virtual learning. Please have your student log into the Summit Learning Platform to build skills, complete check points and communicate with fellow students (via the online platform) to keep the work flow going.

Thank you for being flexible, responsive and understanding as we continue to work through the changes presented to all of us.
